Hello folks!

The first two singles in our 30th Anniversary Singles Club have shipped and will be with you soon!

Featuring Cyanide Pills and Giuda, each covering the A & B-sides of one of their favourite 45s! Both records come in a homage sleeve. Take a look at the sleeves below!

If you've not signed up yet, there are still copies available. But don't leave it too long, they're limited to 250 copies on coloured vinyl!

30TH ANNIVERSARY SINGLES CLUB

We asked a few of the bands we've worked with over the years to come up with a cover version of one of their favourite 7" singles, the interesting thing is that they also had to do the original b-side as well. Each single comes in a sleeve which pays homage to the original.

That made it a lot trickier and a few fell by the wayside but we've ended up with a great set of seven 7" singles.

There will be a limited coloured version of each one which will only be available by mail order if you join the club. Standard black versions will also be available individually a few weeks later.

The final bands are...

CYANIDE PILLS

GIUDA

JOHNNY MOPED

HARD SKIN

THE SHADRACKS

GRAHAM DAY AND THE FOREFATHERS

WILD BILLY CHILDISH & CTMF

It costs £70 plus postage to join the club and we'll be shipping the singles out in sets of two at a time, there will be something nice in with the last one.

The club singles will be on coloured vinyl, except one which is a picture disc.

There's only 250 sets of these beauties so get joining the club!

Strictly limited to one per customer, we will cancel any duplicate orders.

In the spirit of the original singles, there will be NO digital on any of these.

Here's Phil from Cyanide Pills talking about their choice of single...

"When asked to do a cover for the Damaged Goods anniversary singles club we thought we would steer clear of that there Punk rock and do a glam number.

Originally it was going to be a Sweet track as they are one of our favourite bands but when listening to The Glitter Bands' 'Just For You' we thought that's the song for us! What a stomper!
What also helped tip the balance in favour of The Glitter Band was that in later years when the awful crimes of a previous singer (whose name we won't mention) came to light the bands' reputation was tarnished, no more airplay no more royalties, a band punished for crimes they didn't commit.

'Just For You', written by Rossall and Shepard got to number ten in the 1974 single charts and they are welcome to the 75p royalties that might come from this Cyanide Pills effort.
Oh and the B-side's not bad either!"

Celebrating 30 years of Damaged Goods Records we proudly present an evening of punk and garage not to be missed!

Sharing a stage for one night only we have three great bands.

Medway garage pioneer Billy Childish will be making a very rare live appearance with his current band CTMF. This show will be one of only two gigs the band will play this year. (Their other show is the previous weekend at The End Of The Road Festival.)

Johnny Moped were part of the original '77 wave of punk bands, regularly on the bill at The Roxy Club and still make a fantastic noise. They'll be playing tracks from Cycledelic and It's A Real Cool Baby.

Also on the line-up we have one of Damaged Goods' latest signings The Shadracks. Medway garage upstarts! Their eponymous debut LP is set for release later this year. Get down the front early!
