30TH ANNIVERSARY SINGLES CLUB
We asked a few of the bands we've worked with over the years to come up with a cover version of one of their favourite 7" singles, the interesting thing is that they also had to do the original b-side as well. Each single comes in a sleeve which pays homage to the original.
That made it a lot trickier and a few fell by the wayside but we've ended up with a great set of seven 7" singles.
There will be a limited coloured version of each one which will only be available by mail order if you join the club. Standard black versions will also be available individually a few weeks later.
The final bands are...
CYANIDE PILLS
GIUDA
JOHNNY MOPED
HARD SKIN
THE SHADRACKS
GRAHAM DAY AND THE FOREFATHERS
WILD BILLY CHILDISH & CTMF
It costs £70 plus postage to join the club and we'll be shipping the singles out in sets of two at a time, there will be something nice in with the last one.
The club singles will be on coloured vinyl, except one which is a picture disc.
There's only 250 sets of these beauties so get joining the club!
Strictly limited to one per customer, we will cancel any duplicate orders.
In the spirit of the original singles, there will be NO digital on any of these.
The rest of the year is jam packed with some great gigs in the UK and around Europe!
Amyl & The Sniffers, Cyanide Pills, Holly Golightly, Thee Dagger Debs, Alan Clayson & The Argonauts,
Graham Day, The Galileo 7, The Shadracks, Johnny Moped, The Senior Service, CTMF and more!
Celebrating 30 years of Damaged Goods Records we proudly present an evening of punk and garage not to be missed!
Sharing a stage for one night only we have three great bands.
Medway garage pioneer Billy Childish will be making a very rare live appearance with his current band CTMF. This show will be one of only two gigs the band will play this year. (Their other show is the previous weekend at The End Of The Road Festival.)
Johnny Moped were part of the original '77 wave of punk bands, regularly on the bill at The Roxy Club and still make a fantastic noise. They'll be playing tracks from Cycledelic and It's A Real Cool Baby.
Also on the line-up we have one of Damaged Goods' latest signings The Shadracks. Medway garage upstarts! Their eponymous debut LP is set for release later this year. Get down the front early!
