THE BILLY CHILDISH 45 CLUB - CTMF featuring The Dear Watson Sound.
Starting from MID OCTOBER and for the next SEVEN months Wild Billy Childish and CTMF, featuring The Dear Watson Sound, will release eight new 7” singles.
Following on from the this year’s SQ 1 album, Billy, Julie and Wolf are releasing 16 tracks via a subscription-only series of eight separate 7” singles. Featuring 11 new recordings, including alternative takes, choice covers, a few re-recorded Childish classics from Thee Headcoats days.
What is the Dear Watson sound?
CTMF, via The Dear Watson Sound channel 3rd division British Beat sprinkled with safety pins. In a strange tribute to themselves, the Downliners Sect, and all that’s missing in the current scene. Their first release was on the Squoodge label, a very, very limited 12”, Billy has included those tracks in amongst these eight singles as well.
There are three different club levels, something for everyone!
