Hello folks!

We've no new releases this week so have decided to highlight some great items from the DG back catalogue. With nearly 500 releases to choose from there's plenty more we could have picked, but here's just a small selection worthy of your attention. As always click on the pics to purchase through our online shop. For info on all the Damaged Goods releases take a look at the website's discography section.

Pete Molinari

Currently living and gigging across the pond is Kent's own Woody Guthrie. Pete's first two albums came out on Damaged Goods, along with 3 singles and a 10" EP with none other than the Jordanaires. Quality songwriting and musicianship along matched by Pete's fantastic voice.

Fabienne Delsol

As lead singer for The Bristols, Fabienne had already achieved legend status within the garage scene. She's also released 3 solo albums which mix ye-ye, beat, '60s pop and soft-psych. And they're all Fab!!

The Chatham Singers

Billy Childish is a name familiar to most of you. The undisputed King of Garage Rock has released over 120 albums since starting out with The Pop Rivets during the first wave of punk. A couple of lesser known gems from his recorded output are these 2 albums by "sit-down blues and folk" band The Chatham Singers, which features his wife Julie along with erstwhile drummer Wolf Howard. They also releases "An Image Of You" on 7" trad. black vinyl.

Case

We've re-issued lots of great punk records over the years but few match the intensity and energy of this lot, as anyone who's witnessed their reunion concerts at The 100 Club or Rebellion Festival will testify. The Ain't Gonna Dance album compiles their original recordings. An EP of new material "Grow Or Die" followed in 2012.

Indiepop Classics

We've released some amazing indiepop records over the years, including compilations by The Chefs and Talulah Gosh, and records by Helen Love, Piney Gir and Anorak Girl. More recently we've had albums from bands such as Butcher Boy and Betty & The Werewolves.

Happy weekend!
