If you thought it had been a while since the last Spartan Dreggs album you are in for a treat! Coming up next month we have three LP's, (yes three!) from Wild Billy Childish & The Spartan Dreggs. To make this extra special we've made it a case of buy the first two, get the third LP free! There's also a 7" single (limited to 499 copies) featuring a couple of tracks from the albums.
Now for the important bit, how to get hold of these releases - please read very carefully!
To get hold of the 7", We Spartan Dreggs (Be Fine) simply purchase from your local record stockist or order via our online shop (Click on the cover art to order online). The single is released on October 29th.
Now for the LP's. The first two Dreggredation and Coastal Command are available through the usual shops and digital outlets from November 19th. You can also pre-order them via our online shop, simply click on the cover art below to pre-order. On the back sleeve of these two albums are tokens which need to be cut out and attached to the form that comes with the records. These forms need to be returned to us in order for you to claim your copy of the third album Tablets Of Linear B.
They'll need to be accompanied by payment to cover the postage cost -
UK - a £2.50 postal order
Europe - A five euro note
USA - $10 note

We strongly advised sending these payments securely (ie. signed for) as we'll be unable to send out LP's for any coupons that get lost in the post.
Tablets Of Linear B is strictly limited to 250 copies worldwide, most copies come complete with a little something to help you to replace your coupons. Any coupons/payments received after this run has gone will be returned to the sender so be quick to avoid missing out!

Through these abridged popular classics and examples from the Histories, The Spartan Dreggs elevate mere popular music-making to a level equal - and adjacent to - high art. Some may find the didactic of these Spartanists quite informal, others may chide them for their high sentiments, but we assure the listener that signifying proper literature with love is no simpleton's textbook. After all, recognising foolishness across the epochs is no small answer to life's obstinate mysteries.
So, be inspired by the harsh melodies and right-sounding notes of Dreggredation and the imagination will flower as a dog rose, leaving the listener emboldened sufficiently to see that she is already whole and complete and in no need of action or "doing".
Furthermore, should the aforementioned listener accept The Spartan Dreggs' rendering of The Rage Of Achilles - an epic of manifold marvel and wonder - they may perchance see how it is possible to move beyond impotence and invent a new and entirely original form from worn robes and shards of ancient ceramic.
Likewise, though Tablets Of Linear B (formerly Siege of Thebes) may upon first encounter appear to offer nothing but "a glove in the face of the most stalwart Spartanist", be assured the artist known as The Spartan Dreggs would never serve as supper what the hungry traveller's stomach could not with practise, learn to tolerate and eventually grow to love.
