Hello Everyone, here's a few things we have coming up - there's 7" singles form Betty And The Werewolves, Cyanide Pills and The Cute Lepers (all released 23rd Feb). Plus a new album from The Chatham Singers, re-issues from Holly Golightly and a brand new album from new signings Roxy Epoxy and The Rebound. Happy days indeed!
Betty And The Werewolves - David Cassidy 7"This is their wonderful second single following their debut 7” last year on DG called ‘Euston Station’ and it’s a homage to 70’s super pop pin-up and Partridge Family member, David Cassidy. It’s backed with another live favourite ‘Plastic’. It's available on a choice of pink sparkle or violet sparkle vinyl.
The Werewolves recorded this just after their recent tour dates with Fucked Up, who have been telling anyone that will listen that BATW are their favourite band in the world. This single will hopefully plug the gap for those who can’t wait for the debut album which is due out later in the year.

Cyanide Pills - Break It Up 7"This is the debut single by Leeds based punks Cyanide Pills!. It's on lovely yellow vinyl too!
This was the best demo we heard last year so we’ve finally got round to releasing it…and there’s lots more to come.
‘Break It Up’ is a short sharp two minute audio assault which sounds like a great lost single from ’79. If you like Buzzcocks, The Boys, The Briefs and the like then you’re gonna love this. There are 2 equally ace tracks on the flipside – “Mail Order Bride” and “Stick ‘Em Up.”
If you wanna catch 'em live there's a single launch gig at the Cardigan Arms, Leeds on Feb 26th. Click on the cover for the DG online shop.

The Cute Lepers - Berlin Girls 7"This features two new tracks ‘Berlin Girls’ on the A-side and ‘Fall In Love’, a cover of the classic second album track by The Vibrators, on the flip. Available on a choice of orange or green vinyl.
This is the 3rd single on Damaged Goods by the band and hopefully we should have their second album out later in 2009

Roxy Epoxy And The Rebound - Band Aids On Bullet Holes LP/CD!We're pleased to be releasing this brand new album by Roxy Epoxy And The Rebound. If you ain't never heard of her, carry on reading!
Roxy Epoxy burst onto the music scene in 2000 with Portland, Oregon synth punkers, The Epoxies. Never having been in a band before, she put her nerves to the test. She decided it was time to finally get on stage and never turned back.
"I just wanted to try something that intimidated me and play some local shows. I ended up touring the world."
The Epoxies released their debut album with local label Dirtnap Records to much underground acclaim. Endless touring and word of mouth about Roxy's tireless stage presence, landed The Epoxies follow up record, "Stop the Future," on punk kingpin label Fat Wreck Chords. The bands influence and Roxy's unique vocal stylings and stage persona reached far and wide.
Roxy Epoxy has been compared with admired artists such as Chrissie Hynde, Siouxsie Sioux, and Lene Lovich and even a young Leonard Graves (Dickies).
"It also doesn't hurt that lead singer Roxy Epoxy, the love-child of Gary Numan and Siouxsie Sioux if ever there was one, has utterly killer pipes as well as this reviewer's hands-down vote as totally best fawking frontwoman ever personally witnessed by him."
- THREE IMAGINARY GIRLS By Bill Bullock
While the Epoxies toured and recorded extensively, Roxy continued to write songs and put them aside. She also tried her had at writing for Razorcake Magazine and started her highly influential radio show, "Roxy's Ego Hour" at KPSU radio.
At the end of 2007, the Epoxies decided to call it quits. It was time for Roxy to pull her own songs out of hiding and start fresh. Rumors are swirling that the material is the logical next step for a post Epoxies world. The mood is darker. The guitar is crisper. The angles are sharper. One fellow local musician has been overheard to say that the material is even better than the defunct Epoxies.
So. It is 2009. Now is the time for Roxy Epoxy and the Rebound. The world waits with bated breath.
LP & CD due out 6th April.
